I never leave book reviews, but this book left me so unsettled that I couldn't finish it. I get that people have all different types of sexual turn-ons, kinks and fetishes. I'm pretty much a live and let live kind of gal. However, there was one scene that turned my stomach and I could not get over it to finish the book. Two of the supporting characters are into spanking. In one scene the husband forcibly holds the wife down and spanks her as punishment and to shut down an argument. It wasn't foreplay. When he finally releases her, she scoots to the edge of the bed with her back turned. He turns her around, kisses her and tells her they don't go to bed mad. All is then forgiven and the story continues. It is one of the worst scenes I've ever read in a book. I don't generally read fictional stories about tolerated abuse.

I loved this book!!!!!!!!!!! I read all these reviews that kept saying what a jerk Logan was and I almost didn't buy it but I am so glad I took the chance. This book was awesome I loved Holly and Logan they are an awesome couple. Logan just could not understand how someone could let themselves go like Holly had. Granted he thought of her as a project kind of like "My Fair Lady" but in time he came to understand the emotional issues Holly dealt with through eating and helped her find new outlets for the hurt and the sorrow besides turning to food for comfort. At the end when Logan was conflicted because he couldn't understand how he could be attracted to someone who is so different from "his type" but he finally realizes that true beauty really does come from the inside.
I bought this book because I mistook it to be by an author with the same last name. Whoops. I am so glad I did!

It made me laugh, it made me cry. And then I forgot about it. Two days ago I opened it up again while I was on the treadmill. Even though I knew I had read it before almost immediately, I got caught up in the story all over again. While it is a bit predictable as a romance novel, it was also a refreshing and fun take on the usual boy meets girl, boy loses girl, girl gets him back story line.

Now I'm going to have to buy some more of Stephanie's books because she just makes it fun to read!
This book is everything about a romance novel that I like to read. Although I found myself disliking Holly quite a bit. She came off a very bitchy. I'm just not sure I really know what exactly Logan saw in her. There is absolutely no realistic reason why two people like this would ever end up together. But I guess that is why I like novels like these in the first place. The fantasies are good enough to appreciate. I feel like he would have more likely gone for Holly had she been nicer and still aloof as she was. There really isn't much shared about Logan at all. What reason did he have for falling in love with her?
It was just OK. It sounds like she lost a substantial amount of weight but there didn't seem to be much of a struggle for her. That is a big accomplishment and is a lot of work. I wish the author had spent more time on her journey.

Enough with the spanking when the girl is naughty, how disgusting . The author has a messed up imagination and the spanking could’ve been left out and the book would’ve been so much better.
Terrible, the blurb read well so I bought it, but it became really long winded, and had no sense of humour. Forced chemistry between the two main characters, a really un-likeable love interest, and a weird married couple as the sub characters. As a side note, if my husband tried to "discipline" me for having an opinion by putting me over his knee and spanking me, I would punch him in the face!!!!!!!!!!

You know from the minute the fat girl sits down on a plane next to a hun professional trainer that they are going to wind up in bed and we have to read about their angst. Actually I skipped over a lot of paragraphs and pages as skimming them told me how boring they were. Too much time spent explaining every inch of her body he touched with his little finger and everything else. This story was really predictable and kind of high school.
